CJC rides again at Nectar in Kingsland from 25 March!

After a long search, Creative Jazz Club is back up and running in a great new venue from 25 March 2026!

We’re thrilled to be going into Nectar, above the Kingslander, every Wednesday from 25 March 2026.

We have a stellar programme lined up for the relaunch, starting with New Caledonian organist extraordinaire, Michel Benebig.

The programme continues through April, starting on Wednesday 1 April with another organ-driven group, Junglefowl, taking the format to the funkiest of places.

On the 8th, Jake Baxendale bring a stunning ensemble to release Waypeople, a new album of music to the words of the Tao Te Ching.

Then Callum Passels brings Left Centre Right; 3 trios at once, in alternating harmony and competition.

We welcome New York guitarist Rory Stuart, bringing his original music with a local rhythm section on the 22nd, and we finish the month with the fabulous pianist Jonathan Crayford.

Nestled in the heart of the Kingsland shops on New North Road, Nectar and The Kingslander are easy to get to by bus or train, with on street parking available. As well as a hearty menu in the pub, there are plenty of great restaurant options right on the doorstep to suit every taste.
