Rory Johns & The Mystics
Rory Johns and The Mystic is a jazz-influenced ensemble drawing on influences such as Nala Sinephro and Ancient Infinity Orchestra.
The group blends contemporary jazz, ambient textures, and improvisation to create, immersive, atmospheric music that moves fluidly between, composed passages and spontaneous exploration.
Their performances are expansive and exploratory, ranging from intimate, reflective passages to energetic, rhythm-driven moments, with an emphasis on creating an immersive experience for the audience.
The group are continually exploring new ways to bring improvisation and composition together. Creating music that feels both considered, spontaneous, and rooted in the chemistry of a live ensemble.
