The guru of Hammond Organ, Michel Bénébig, comes with his New Caledonian trio to CJC to perform some great Jazz & Blues standards plus some original music from Shem and Michel. They perform in the pure jazz-organ tradition of the greatest and legendary organists like: Jimmy Mc Griff, Jack Mc Duff and Jimmy Smith, and will feature the warm, bluesy vocals of Shem.
His latest CD ‘Sunlight Special’ features Shem ( vocal ), Dixon Nacey ( guitar NZ ), Andrew Dickeson ( drums Aust ), Michel Bénébig ( B3 hammond organ ).
